The science behind our therapy
What is a Biofield?
"Biofield" is the term selected by a team of National Institute of Health scientists in 1994 to describe the field of energy and information that surrounds and interpenetrates the body. It is composed of measurable electromagnetic energy and hypothetical subtle energy, or chi.
One way of looking at subtle energy is to see it as a higher harmonic of electromagnetic energy, present wherever electromagnetic energy is, but higher, finer, more diffused and following slightly different laws.
Using an analogy: subtle energy is to electromagnetism as water vapour is to water. Just as we do not measure water vapour with the same tools we use to measure water, we can’t use the same tools to measure subtle energy that we use to measure electricity.
Biofield Balancing with Tuning Forks
Sound balancing with Tuning Forks and Himalayan Singing Bowls are modalities using audible acoustic frequencies to balance the body’s electrical system.
They lift one's vibration clearing away stuck energies that were created through challenges in one’s lifetime becoming dense and heavy. By lifting the distortion frequencies in the biofield (aura) back to one’s own unique frequency and integrating it through the system, balance and entrainment is restored.
Working with this energy can speed healing and alleviate discomfort. Many people live in a constant state of tension that causes the adrenal glands to become overworked.
What to expect after a Biofield Tuning session
Most people who receive Biofield Tuning sessions report feeling clearer, calmer, more relaxed, and more self-aware. However, everyone is different and every person has a unique experience.
Some other experiences that people have reported:
Tiredness, needing to sleep or lay low for a day or more.
Waves of emotions – crying, being angry, sad
Headaches and/or dizziness
In very rare instances: skin rashes, mucus, fever, vomiting, excessive thirst
Generally these symptoms are detoxification and pass within a day or two, but if a condition persists, it is important to see the therapist again, sooner rather than later. Sometimes people can get "stuck" in the unwinding process and need an additional boost to complete the release.
“If we accept that sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. One reason sound heals on a physical level is because it so deeply touches and transforms us on the emotional and spiritual planes. Sound can redress imbalances on every level of physiologic functioning and can play a positive role in the treatment of virtually any medical disorder.”
Dr. Mitchell Gaynor, director of Medical Oncology and Integrative Medicine at the Cornell Cancer Prevention Center in NY
“In the words of the great Tibetan master/Bodhisattva Gwalwa Karmapa, the Singing Bowls of Tibet emit the ‘Sound of the Void’, the sound of the universe manifesting. They are a symbol of the 'unknowable' and as an alloy, date back to the Buddha, Shakyamni (560-480 B.C.). Their origins and detailed histories are shrouded in the distant past and are surely a gift from the shamanistic 'Bon' religion which precedes Buddhism in Tibet by centuries. For centuries they have been utilized for healing and consciousness transformation.”

The Healing Power of Sound Therapy
The Universal Law Of Vibration states that everything in the Universe consists of energy or light in motion that vibrates at a certain speed and the resonation of it determines its frequency.
Although we may perceive the world and everything within it to be physical or material, Quantum Physics states that everything that exists in the whole universe is made up of energy that constantly flows and changes form. This has been proven many times by Nobel Prize award winning scientists, however because we are used to thinking about ourselves, and everything in the universe as tangible, it can be quite difficult to accept that everything is just energy.
Quantum physicists discovered that our physical “reality” consists of atoms, which are numerous vortexes of spinning and vibrating energy that is similar to a tornado. Consequently, human beings, according to quantum physics, have no actual physical structure. We are vibrational repeated patterns of spinning vortices of interactive energy, with each having its own unique signature. This spiritual signature is what makes us all entirely different from one another.
We only feel separate to everyone and everything due to our energy vibrating on a different frequency from everything else that exists. However, we are intrinsically connected to everything and everyone as our energy interacts, connects, absorbs, interlocks and communicates with the other energy here on Earth as well as the incoming energies from the outer universe.
“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence. To understand the true nature of the universe, one must think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” ~ Nikola Telsa

Ancient Healing Approach: Drum Therapy
Drum therapy is an ancient approach that uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. From the shamans of Mongolia to the Minianka healers of West Africa, therapeutic rhythm techniques have been used for thousands of years to create and maintain physical, mental, and spiritual health. Science has made it quite clear that drumming has some profound and holistic uses to enhance physical, mental and emotional health.
Current research is now verifying the therapeutic effects of ancient rhythm techniques, which indicate that drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and produces feelings of well-being, a release of emotional trauma, and reintegration of self. Other benefits of drumming include:
Inducing of deep relaxation, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress. Stress, according to current medical research, contributes to nearly all disease and is a primary cause of such life-threatening illnesses as heart attacks, strokes, and immune system breakdowns.
Promotion of the production of endorphins and endogenous opiates, the bodies own morphine-like painkillers, and can thereby help in the control of pain.
Synchronization of the frontal and lower areas of the brain, integrating nonverbal information from lower brain structures into the frontal cortex, producing “feelings of insight, understanding, integration, certainty, conviction, and truth, which surpass ordinary understandings and tend to persist long after the experience, often providing foundational insights for religious and cultural traditions.”
Helping people express and address emotional issues. Unexpressed feelings and emotions can form energy blockages.
The physical stimulation of drumming removes blockages and produces emotional release. Sound vibrations resonate through every cell in the body, stimulating the release of negative cellular memories.
